Perfumes Online
This article is part of a series that is supposed to give you a better understanding of this topic.
Why anyone would walk into a department or retail store and pay so much for a bottle of eau de parfum is a mystery. Yet it is done every single day. As well, many people buy the prepackaged fragrances that have the "scratch and sniff" sticker, instead of actually smelling or wearing the fragrance. Yet people do this all of the time too. They buy a product without knowing whether or not it is going to smell right on their body. This applies to perfumes online as well.
The problem with buying perfumes online is that you do not get to smell the product before you make the purchase. Now, to be fair, if you are buying your usual perfume and cologne fragrances, then this is not a problem. You already know how it reacts with your unique body chemistry to produce your unique scent. Because you are an informed consumer and perfume shopper you already know that the same perfume will smell differently on different people because of their body chemistry. No two people, even wearing the same product, will smell alike.
So if you are buying a new perfume online, then this can be a risky. You have no real idea what it will smell like. The answer is to go to your local department store that features a perfume and cologne counter, and spray or dab a fragrance on your skin. Here is the trick: you are only going to be able to do this one at a time. Most people make the mistake of smelling the cards and going from there. You need to actually spray your wrist and walk away for a bit. Let it have a chance to do its work. Do not make the mistake of going back and trying on a different scent that same day. Wear the one for the rest of the day.
Once you have tried out the perfume and you like the way it smells, go about buying that scent and other perfumes online. You will save yourself a bunch of money. However, if you do not like the fragrance, then repeat the process until you find one that you like and that suits your needs. If you follow this advice you will save yourself from having a shelf filled with perfumes and colognes that you will never use.

Today's Tip On Perfumes
Anyone can go into a big name department store and pay a bucket load of money for designer perfumes. That is not a hard thing to do. The hardest thing about picking out the perfume is sniffing and then plunking down your credit card. Anyone can do that if they have the money. But why waste your hard earned money when you can buy those same designer fragrances for less than half the price that major retail stores charge? It is sheer insanity to pay those outrageous prices. You deserve to get the same fragrances for less and you can get them for less too, if you know where to look. |
